Veterinary Physiotherapy

Has your animal had an injury or surgery?

Is he stiff when moving about?

 Have you noticed performance problems?

Physiotherapy can help!

The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT) is a specialist group of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Animals, like people, respond to physiotherapy. The purpose of physiotherapy is to restore and maintain:

 mobility/activity,
 function,
 independence,
 performance and
prevent injury through information and advice.

All Chartered Physiotherapists have the qualification MCSP (Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) after their names. We provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation for large and small animals, both domestic and athletic, with referral from your veterinary surgeon. We offer specialist expertise, individual assessment and treatment and management advice. Physiotherapy treatments include manipulation and mobilisation to joints and soft tissues, electrotherapies, exercise regimes and rehabilitation. ACPAT physiotherapists have professional and public liability insurance and are recognised by several animal insurance companies.
